 Mark J. Sebastian, DMD, DICIO
Dr. Sebastian has resided and practiced in Federal Way since 1980. He prides himself in his strong ties to his community and strives to provide the highest standards of care in a warm and comfortable manner.
Dr. Sebastian received his dental degree in 1977 from the University of Pittsburgh. He then completed a dental residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA.
In 1978 he moved to Washington to pursue a degree in advanced periodontal studies at the prestigious University of Washington, School of Dentistry.
Graduating in 1980, Dr. Sebastian opened his periodontal practice in Federal Way. He has been an influential part of the Washington dental community for over 27 years.
Dr. Sebastian provides the most advanced periodontal care available. It is important to him to accommodate each patient's individual needs.
"I like to explain to my patients my findings and what their various treatment options are. They can then make an educated decision on what is the best course of dental treatment for themselves. I want my patients to thoroughly understand what the status of their dental health is, if there are problems what they are, what we can do about it, what the limitations are, and why."
Dr. Sebastian has served on a number of dental committees and is a member of:

- Washington State Dental Association
- American Dental Association
- American Academy of Periodontology
- International Congress of Oral Implantologists

Additionally, Dr. Sebastian is an expert in the placement of dental implants and is both a Fellow and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
 He is an active participant in the community and has volunteered with OUTDOORSFORALL, an organization providing snow skiing and other outdoor recreational opportunities to individuals with mental or physical disabilities.
Dr. Sebastian is married with two children. His outside interests include hunting, fishing, recreational downhill snow skiing, Special Olympics, and Oregon and Washington wines.
Just recently, Dr. Sebastian and his family participated in a local Walk F.A.R. for N.A.A.R., a fundraising event for the National Alliance for Autism Research. They directly raised over $8,500 through their efforts.
